Sade at their bestMay 26, 2010

While I believe all of Sade's albums are excellent, Stronger Than Pride and Love Deluxe find the band at their absolute brightest. Stronger Than Pride was unfairly criticized at the time of it's original release in 1988, but has received it's due praise with time. Highlights include the prayerful title track, tropical Paradise, and beautifully heartbreaking I Never Thought I'd See the Day. 1992's Love Deluxe hit the big time with the aquatic No Ordinary Love, jazz heavy Kiss of Life, airy Cherish The Day, and dramatically orchestrated Pearls about a Somalian mother gathering food for her starving daughter. Make sure you pick up all of Sade's cds, but start with these two after the greatest hits compilation. Enjoy!

I enjoy listening to these combo CDs very much. The combo CDs price is very good value. Sade has very beautiful and sexy voice that can seduce me. I love her older music compare to the last 2 newer CDs. My only gripe of Sade CDs are the bass end spectrum. It would distort the speakers if I listen at loud volume. I have no problem with the speakers if I listen to other artists at the same volume setting. Could anyone confirm this problem that you have??
